Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Jérémy Recchione has quickly emerged as one of Burgundy's most exciting young vignerons, representing a new generation dedicated to purity, sustainability and the transparent expression of terroir. After discovering Burgundy in 2010, he trained under Sylvain Cholet and Naigeon. Then he refined his understanding of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay alongside Mark Haisma. Years of dedication culminated in the creation of Domaine Jérémy Recchione in 2019, marking the beginning of his promising eponymous estate.
Today, the domaine farms around 2 hectares of organically managed vineyards, complemented by meticulously sourced fruit from trusted growers who share Jérémy's standards. His vineyard portfolio continues to expand, encompassing sought after sites including Bourgogne Aligoté Les Cerisiers, Gevrey Chambertin Les Creux Brouillard, Savigny lès Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavières, Pernand Vergelesses 1er Cru En Caradeux, Saint Romain, Pouilly Fuissé 1er Cru Clos Reyssier and other carefully selected parcels across Burgundy. Annual production remains tiny, ensuring meticulous attention to every cuvée.
Jérémy's philosophy is firmly rooted in minimal intervention winemaking. Vineyards are farmed according to organic and biodynamic principles, with rigorous green harvesting and manual vineyard work to achieve healthy and balanced fruit. In the cellar, grapes undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration before spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts, often with a high proportion of whole clusters depending on the vintage and vineyard. Sulphur additions are kept exceptionally low, while élevage takes place in neutral oak and ceramic vessels (oftenly 50/50), allowing each terroir to shine without excessive influence from the cellar.
Although Burgundy remains at the heart of the domaine, Jérémy's curiosity extends beyond the region. He also produces limited cuvées from Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Timorasso in Piedmont, demonstrating his passion for exploring other varietals while remaining true to his philosophy of authenticity and minimal intervention.

His whites combine crystalline freshness with depth and tension, while his Pinot Noirs balance purity of fruit with elegance and remarkable site expression. Even in their youth, the wines display an effortless harmony that reflects both thoughtful viticulture and restrained winemaking.
