COTE DE BEAUNE
Roisin Curley (Chassagne-Montrachet)

Irish-born Róisín boasts an impressive pedigree, having trained at top estates including Château Latour and Château Grillet, while earning both the Master of Wine and an MSc in Viticulture. Driven by a desire to make her own wines, she founded her micro-négoce, Maison Róisín Curley, in Burgundy. Her wines quickly gained attention in the UK, selling out within months. Despite her small production (~10,000 bottles/year), I’m thrilled to be among the few fortunate to get an allocation !

Wine style :  The wines reflect their maker: consistent, coherent and full of character. Subtle oak with a spicy lift adds aromatic charm. Lightly extracted but not lacking intensity, fresh and forward, they sparkle with vibrant phenolics—making 2023 a standout vintage.

Why Vibrant : Roisin, as a Master of Wine, has an impressive palate—and her own wines reflect it. I love the way they combine an “infusion” style with structure and body, striking a perfect balance.
