Toru Oikawa - Tuscany
Toru Oikawa, born in 1981, moved to Italy in 2014 where he began working for the legendary Gianfranco Soldera at Case Basse, learning there artisanal, minimal-intervention methods.
In 2020, he finally found the right vineyards to launch his own project - giving birth to Il Vignaiolo di Toru Oikawa on only one hectar in Chianti. His approach is pure and uncompromising: organic farming, spontaneous fermentations, minimal intervention, old oak, no fining no filtration. Tiny production , singular vision.

Wine style : Tuscany’s new unicorn has arrived. A confidential release of just 2,000 bottles — a wine of singular style, deep intensity, soaring aromatics and seamlessly integrated tannins, all with remarkable freshness and zero heat. While all wines are produced within Chianti Classico, they are labelled Toscana IGT — inspired by Soldera and, above all, to give Toru complete freedom in grape varieties and methods.
Why Vibrant : first time i tasted Luna it was blind and i was stunned by the intensity and depth of the wine without feeling any heavy tannins. I was just convinced the winemaker was very skilfull and making his own style - the right criterias to jump on it !

Vino Da Tavola Luna Rosato
Type : Rosato
Rosato - blend of malvasia bianca, trebbiano, sangiovese. Deep ruby in colour, layered with ripe red fruit, earthy tones and subtle spice. The palate is seamless, with fine tannins and great acidity. abv 10,5% . 650 btles produced.
Luna Sangiovese 2022 (IGT Toscana)
Type : Red (Sangoviese)
From a prime Chianti Classico site. Racy tannins frame dark fruit, spice, violet and liquorice, with striking density and endless persistence. Powerful yet seamless, never hot. Can easily find Soldera influence. Built to age. 1250 btles.
